Shannon Construction served as Construction Manager as Agent for Commonwealth Charter Academy’s Wyomissing location, managing the renovation of an existing building at 1015 Penn Avenue. Designed by Strada Architecture, the project transformed the facility to support CCA’s educational and administrative needs. Delivered through a multiple-prime contracting structure, the project required extensive coordination among separate contractors and specialty vendors to keep construction, building systems and technology aligned with the overall design and schedule.

- Coordinated multiple prime contracts for general construction, HVAC, plumbing and electrical
- Managed integration of audiovisual, security, low-voltage, signage and specialty lighting systems
- Integrated AV technology including monitors, projectors, speakers, touch-screen controls, scheduling panels and sound masking
- Coordinated security systems including cameras, card readers and intercoms
- Managed construction sequencing, trade interfaces, RFIs, progress meetings and schedule coordination across the project team
- Oversaw detailed coordination between architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, fire alarm and electrical systems
