Shannon Construction recently completed a full-floor buildout for Meyer Unkovic & Scott at the U.S. Steel Tower, supporting the firm’s relocation from its longtime home in the Oliver Building into a newly right-sized, modern workspace. Meyer, Unkovic & Scott LLP is a Pittsburgh-based business law firm serving local, national and international companies, financial institutions, business ventures and individuals. Delivered in partnership with Winthrop and Stantec, the project reflects a strategic shift toward a more efficient and connected office environment.

The buildout brought together two existing suites into a cohesive layout, creating a balanced mix of private offices, open work areas, and conference rooms. A new reception area and glass-front meeting spaces establish a strong front-of-house presence, while a café-style breakroom and lounge areas support day-to-day collaboration. Updated finishes and lighting create a clean, modern environment that enhances both functionality and overall experience.

Project Highlights

  • Combination of private offices, open workstations, and conference rooms
  • New reception area with strong client-facing presence
  • Glass-front meeting spaces to enhance visibility and natural light
  • Café-style breakroom and informal lounge areas for collaboration
  • Upgraded finishes, flooring, and ceiling systems throughout

The reconfigured layout improves circulation and connectivity across the full floor, allowing for a more efficient use of space while maintaining flexibility for future needs. Strategic updates were integrated with existing building conditions to deliver a seamless finished product.

The completed office provides a polished, professional environment that supports both daily operations and client interaction, reflecting Meyer, Unkovic & Scott’s forward-looking approach and long-term vision.
