ServiceLink, an industry leader in mortgage services, selected Shannon Construction to renovate 45,000 square feet of its Pittsburgh office. The $3.8 million project modernized the workplace with new office configurations, upgraded lighting, contemporary finishes and FALK demountable wall systems.
Central to the renovation was the installation of a GRID elevated floor system throughout the office. The raised flooring created an accessible pathway for power and data cabling, providing ServiceLink with greater flexibility to adapt its workplace as technology and operational needs evolve.
Because the office remained occupied during construction, Shannon developed a multiphased plan that allowed employees and business operations to continue as work progressed. Each phase required careful coordination of demolition, raised flooring, wall systems, electrical and data infrastructure, lighting and finishes before employees transitioned into the completed areas.
